Collaboration...
... doesn’t just bring people together; it unites them. It’s what moves workplace teams forward, boosting engagement, innovation, and efficiency. It shifts perspective. It shapes culture.
imagine...
... an office space that is vibrant with discussion and laughter. A meeting room where people feel heard, are empowered to speak up, and where innovative ideas emerge. This is what collaboration looks, sounds and feels like. I understand what it’s like to be on a team that doesn't communicate or engage. I felt frustrated, disheartened and like there was no way forward. But there was, and there is! We all deserve to be part of a room of engaged and inspired people who are creating and growing together. Collaboration is built on the foundation of trust and connection, so let's get that foundation built!

I left these workshops feeling much more connected to people who I have worked with for a year. I love that I got a chance to practice catching opportunities to listen, connect, and play.
Hi! I am Brett Macdonald...
Hi! I am brett macdonald ...
I am passionate about bringing people together. My work, rooted in improv theatre, brings teams together to connect, collaborate and drive workplace performance. My method merges my experience in education and the arts. Through laughter and the power of play, my workshops offer an opportunity to shape - or reshape - essential business skills, comradery and culture. I love bringing people together, to help them feel valued, heard and connected... and to help them laugh. Like really laugh! Laugh with deep belly laughs that make your cheeks hurt! Because I believe laughter breaks down barriers - both within yourself and within a group.
Here's how!
A short interactive session focused on joyful energy and connection. A creative and laughter-filled way to kickoff, wrap-up or regroup during a large event.
An interactive session (1 to 3 hours) focused on deepening connections, building trust and coming together. A fun and impactful session to start off a retreat, meeting or strategy day.
An interactive session (half-day or full-day) tailored to your team’s needs. A day of varied activities that focus on connection, trust, communication and your team’s growth.
Applied Improv as a Workplace Tool
What improv teaches us is what workplaces need. Improv builds skills that have a lasting impact; it offers a skill set rooted in spontaneity and adaptability. Improv teaches us how to think on our feet, how to listen and observe what’s happening around us, and most importantly, how to respond.
Improv: A Fresh Approach
Improv: a fresh approach
Does the thought of Improv give you sweaty palms? Maybe it reminds you of the show Whose Line is it Anyway? You’re not alone in those reactions! And yet, improv is so much more than a comedic performance.
Improv is about using the skills of listening, spontaneity, creativity and curiosity to collaborate and create stories with others.
