About Brett, Workshop Designer and Facilitator

Hello and welcome! I’m Brett and I am passionate about bringing people together.

Growing up I have always been involved in the theatre community. As an adult I fell in love with the spontaneity and joy of improvised theatre. I soon realized the positive impact it was having on my own life - a sort of ‘improv mindset’ was taking hold. I became more mindful, more observant, and a more appreciative listener to the people around me. I also noticed how much more playful and spontaneous I was becoming, more willing to take risks and surprise myself with new experiences.

I also value the feeling of community. I like to bring people together, help them feel valued, heard and connected… and to help them laugh. Like really laugh! Laugh with deep belly laughs that make your cheeks hurt! Because I believe laughter breaks down barriers - both within yourself and within a group.

And so I created a space to share these powerful benefits with my community. A place to help people (re)connect with each other and themselves. A space where people laugh and grow together, because the better we know ourselves, the more open we are to connecting to the people around us. And the more connected we are to our communities, the more connected and caring the world becomes.
